Liebesbier in Bayreuth

A great place to have breakfast. Very large selection. Prices are perfectly fine for the portions and products. Good service.

This place did not live up to its hype. The beer is the same you would find anywhere else in Bavaria. The food is average, and way overpriced. The service was so, so. Our beer order was forgotten, and I had to remind the waitress about it after we were done with our appetizers. She did offer 2 free tasting glasses of beer to make up for it. Overall, this place is just not worth the money.

The love beer has a cozy atmosphere and very nice staff. What bothered me a lot, however, is the change in the breakfast menu. I found it very difficult to find something for myself. There is not even a normal breakfast with tomato, cucumber and spread as it used to be ... Even possible drinks (coffee, teas etc.) were not on the menu, so you didn't know what to choose from. The coffee is way too small for the money, by the way. I don't have breakfast there anymore, because I don't like it anymore as it is now ... Otherwise great restaurant and certainly suitable for some.

Great location and good beer. I had the steak fries and they were awesome. A but too dark tho inside.

We were in the love beer on September 13th, 2020. A visit is an absolute must for beer lovers due to the diverse selection. But the delicious food is also highly recommended. Plus the friendly and courteous service. This more than convincing overall package also justifies the slightly higher prices. That is why the beer lovers give Waldau and the surrounding area five stars.

Great location ... a lot of activity, but the guests are pleasantly spread over different areas. The service was present and courteous. Starter (Crazy Brisket) and main course (Hirschburger) were very tasty.

Very well-trained service with professional explanations of the draft beers on offer. Music not too loud. The food came quickly and was delicious. Great shop for a cozy evening. Unfortunately, the classic pil drinker falls short - still full points!

Friendly service, great food and a nice atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised as we had expected less good service given the size of the restaurant. This, however, was not the case! We received a very friendly welcome and the food was outstanding. So we'd love to come back.

Very nice location and super nice staff😍 unfortunately not everyone was satisfied with the food. The food is well presented and the quality is really high. Unfortunately the spare ribs weren't like spare ribs should be. They should definitely be a lot crisper on the outside. Reminded us more of a roast pork. Flank steak was great. Unfortunately, the duck is also too crunchy.

Not a bad restaurant but probably won't be back. The food is definitely delicious. However, it has its price and the selection didn't quite appeal to me personally. Thanks for the quick response here;)

Were there today with reservation (our 6th visit). It was known that a ROUND birthday was to be celebrated. The table was not set up a little lovingly, nor was it congratulated or anything like that. (really mega disappointing!) We just drove 130 km, again ... probably not. During our visit (about 3 hours) we noticed at least 3 more tables next to us that were unsatisfied. Service was very nice but we had to wait a long time. Food was good. Diet Coke, SORRY that tastes terrible. Cocktail was delicious

A good restaurant experience is a triad of great ambience, good drinking / food and good service. After visiting Liebesbier several times, I unfortunately have to say that the service is just extremely poor. The main course was only served to us after 90 minutes because after the pre-price we forgot to order the main course in the kitchen. But I don't see the consistently friendly and hard-working waiter responsible, but rather his boss. The waitresses simply have too many tables: For example, a neighboring table was only collected after more than 20 minutes, in the meantime the waitress could not be seen. The service staff is hard-working and friendly, but unfortunately works at the limit. The atmosphere is very pleasant and appealing, the food is good but not outstanding. Overall, the price / performance ratio is unfortunately not right due to the poor service.

Beer-wise 6 stars. Insane choice. Unfortunately, the food is very avant-garde. Very good food, but a hearty meal should go with a beer in my opinion. Not a noble selection on a brew of anything with a hint of exotic ingredients. Therefore one star less ... the food is a bit too ... "noble" for what is actually important - after all, it's a beer garden with stuck beer

Still absolutely overhyped in my eyes. Breakfast is great but I don't come here for the rest. Excessive prices and the food is unusual but the taste is not so good that the prices would justify themselves. You only go here so you can say you were there. If you want to pay you can wait a good 30 minutes for a waiter.

Great brewery atmosphere, great food, large variety of beers. In addition, very friendly service, overall very recommendable.

Was there for the first time today. Were received and placed in a friendly manner. Despite the fact that the restaurant was well attended both outside and inside, a waitress came very quickly to take our order. Food was good and came to us quickly. Service was very good. And child friendly :)

Whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you will always find an excellent selection of dishes for every taste - the vegans will also suit their taste. As a meat lover, I can highly recommend the burgers and steaks here. You can find the right beer to go with every dish, and there is even a separate beer menu. Depending on the season, there are also the right dishes for every season. I can only recommend everyone to go on a culinary tour here.

We can only say one thing - MEGA !!!! Simply a great evening with you, the food simply great and delicious. The beer is just delicious. The service is just good and the ambience and location are great. We say thank you again we were just thrilled !!!!

We had a wonderful afternoon / evening with excellent food. Slightly higher prices, but also justified. Very good exquisite selection of dishes with very good quality. Thanks for the nice time out with you. ... and not to forget ... child-friendly ... and a retreat for the kids ... with a playground 🍭

Great food and drinks within a fantastic atmosphere. I have been here a couple of times (from breakfast to dinner) and I haven’t been disappointed by the quality and service. The food is delicious and freshly prepared, which does not just taste good, but also has a great visual setup. The prices are adequate compared to the quality and service you get there and the location is spacious and gives you a relaxed feeling. The only issues I had sometimes is that the staff needs quite a bit of time to handle things. Apart from that, it’s definitely recommended in any way.

Excellent Burger with a great atmosphere. The pages and pages of Beer options are also amazing. Have been several times, will come again.

The restaurant is quite big but because of the way they put the tables it feels cosy. I ended there after arriving in Bayreuth and looking for a place to have dinner. The prices are not too bad. There is a varied menu and the food is tasty. It will be hard to be disappointed here, enjoy! The parking in front of the Liebesbier is not for free. You have to pay, even if you are a Liebesbier-client.

Relatively new place in Bayreuth, they offer lots of different beers. For this kind of bar & city prices are a bit too high. Service is slow unfortunately.

Great craft beer and food. 20 taps with mostly Maisel Bier, for Germany a great craft selection. Food is a smaller selection with artisanal takes on traditional dishes. Cool vibe, Euro version of Sierra Nevada.

Always stop to eat in this place when in transit through Bayreuth. An excellent place with a great selection of home-brewed beers. The kitchen is also pretty good. The menu gets updated and has very interesting entries. An eel soup is very good. Also enjoyed the avocado fries. Unfortunately they were not on the menu anymore when I visited this winter. Staff are very friendly and professional. Service is quick and pleasant. Atmosphere is always good too. A tasteful and comfy design with a real wood fired fireplace adds to the pleasant experience.

Fantastic beer selection. Excellent food, with a well done fusion cuisine style by a forward leaning chef. Service is very fast even when busy. Comfortable seating. Impressive all around.

Liebesbier restaurant is almost full (without reservation), but there is possible to taste local beer in our beerotheke with refrigerator full of craft beer from local brewery and from other craft breweries. But tasting is tricky (in beerotheke they dont have beer glass and sink to wash-off glass).
